I am going back to work sometime in April and am looking into daycares. I just talked to one daycare and it is $45 a day for children under 2. The daycare provides everything, run by a couple out of their home, they only have 12 kids there max, and my son would be there Monday- Thursday. I am looking at it on Friday. I thought that was a little high priced though. I am in upstate New York (about 1.5 hours north of NYC which might be another reason the price is a little inflated). 2001 Honda Odyssey what is the whining (high pitch noise) transmission noise when accelerating in 3 and 4 gear?

I have a Honda Odyssey 2001, 125.ooo km. When I accelerate the transmissions is whining in the 3rd gear (high pitch noise) and also in the 4th (with additional slight rumbling, as something was lose in the transmission) It only whines when gas pedal is pressed. The fluid is clean. Is that typical? I have scheduled a check with Honda next week, but I am very worried and actually after reading so many complaints I am very afraid. I can not recommend anything less than 6 megapixel. If you can get this camera "for a song" it might be worth it but you can Canon digital compact cameras with incredible performance (for that cl of camera) for a few hundred bucks and a better resale value if you decide to sell the camera. There are plenty of decent cameras out there now but in this cl of camera I think the Canon cameras "rule". Read the online reviews, see if you can actually get your hands on a camera to see what it feels like in your hands and then make the decision that is best for you.

I'm 31. My son is now 5 months and I am starting to get my period again. This is my second one and it is on perfect clockwork, however, I have never experienced cramps before and these are absolutely horrible, I can't even stand up straight. How to get desired RED hair color when dyeing at home?

I recently dyed my hair with Ion Color Brilliance - Medium Red Brown (4R). This is my first time coloring my hair in at least 5 years so I was starting with a totally clean slate. I'm 24 and my natural hair color is medium brown with reddish blonde highlights (more or less depending on sun exposure). My hair is healthy, semi-thick, and about 3 inches below my shoulders with long layers. I remember when I dyed my hair as a teenager it would pull red but mainly like burgundy....purpleish red. The current look I'm moving toward is more of an orange-red like Isla Fisher (when she has a darker auburn-red color, not too bright). I'm uming I need to mix two different colors of dye to achieve this but not sure??? Ok several months ago i met this girl she came and knocked on my door and asked if i wanted to go to the bar with her we went to the bar we had later that night on the first time we met and ever since then things have been getting crazy. I know i can do better than her and find a respectable nice pretty girl that wouldnt be out all the time like this but im really like her then she totally blows me off for her friends i tell her we should break up, she gets upset and we stay together and the same beavior continues. I work nights and im off two nights a week and i like to spend at least one of those with her but last night was her last night before she goes to a music festival for the weekend and i had to get into a big arguement with her just to let me hangout because er friends kept calling her then we did and had a good time at the first two bars we went to then we went to a club and the bouncer said i wasnt dressed cly enough and i pulled her aside and said that the bouncer just insulted me and we should go then she gave me her car keys and went into the club any way. I waited about 35 minutes in her car and she came out. I would expect a decent girlfriend to call her girlfriend in the club and say she couldn't come isnt that what a decent girlfriend should do in that situation? I am really attached to her and i dont want to lose her but i dont want a relationship like this i want trust in it and i want to give her every oppurtunity to show me that i can and i should but she keeps doing the same stuff. i told her what i expected from this I expect that she has no more than two nights out with friends a week, let me know where she is sleeping just a quick text or something and no more music festivals unless she takes me with her i would think that is more than enough freedom. she had with one person i know and did other stuff with another girl i know before we ever met so trust is hard. She is talking to all kinds of guys on the internet facebook and is asking them what their plans are for later this week or whatever and when i ask her about it she says its a promoter for some events and she was asking about that or talking to a band member friend who she makes music with or something like that. Should i just let go emotionally or break up with her because its obdvious this behavior isnt going to change or just have and not get to attached. I have alot going on for me im an attractive guy great in bed Im about to finish 4 year school in a month or two. I have two jobs a good running vehicle my own place money in the bank and a boat. Maybe I should just shoot for a really attractive girl insted of an ok girl who has a decent car isnt all over the place a job ...etc I feel like im settling for something less than what i deserve and id like her to change some and id be happy but i just dont know. Central heating fluid. Mould growing in central heating header tank.?

Hi, I have drained my central heating system to fit new radiators. I discovered a thick layer of slime / mould growing in the header tank. The fluid I drained out (containing fernox inhibitor) is already starting to grow mould in the containers it's stored in after only a few weeks. Is this normal & how do I prevent it.

2000 Cherokee Sport EVAP leak?

My engine light came on yesterday, autozone computer says it's a large leak in the EVAP system. I had this same problem about a month ago, but the light went out when I replaced the leak detection pump. My mechanic pressurized the entire system, there are no leaks. I just bought a new gas cap, I have driven about 40 miles but haven't manually reset the computer (pulled a battery terminal off). If this doesn't work, does anyone have any suggestions?

Cracks in new concrete slab?

I just had a brand new 3 car garage built. The slab is a 4 inch slab, with monolithic footings. The ground seemed to be compact well with lots of gravel and the contractor used mesh during the poor. There were no stress cuts placed in the concrete, it was one solid pour. The slab looked great to me after it was finished. However, about the past month or so, I developed about 25 various cracks in the slab. Most started out as very think, barely noticeable cracks, but they all seem to be getting wider and longer. I can tell these cracks are likely to continue expanding. I know some cracking is normal, but when or how do you know if there are too many?

The water spout pes calmly through, like being underwater but moments later a dark tornado comes ripping through the house and I wake up. Should we stop paying the rent?

Last August we reported to our landlord and the real estate that we had a leak from the upstairs shower( coming through light fitting) and a leak in the downstairs cloak room. We had no reply from anyone and as we were going away the downstairs leak was bad so we got in a plumber and paid him the �75 to fix it. we deducted this from our next months rent, and nothing was said. We still have a leak in the shower and we now have hole in lounge ceiling, got hold of landlord who said they were ordering new shower tray this was 4 weeks ago, we haven't been able to use the shower since last year and now my husband is talking of stopping the rent altogether until something is done, are we entitled to do so? My students used to have trouble with this also so here's how I explained it. We all know that water follows salt so that is the solute I used for my example. The solute could be any electrolyte, I just like to use salt. So in an isotonic solution, iso- as a prefix means 'same'. So the salt inside and outside the cell is the same, so no water movement and no reaction by the cell. Hypotonic, hypo- is the prefix for 'below'. So the salt in the solution is lower than in the cell, so the water from the solution will enter the cell (remember water follows salt) so the cell will start to swell and maybe even burst (lyse). In hypertonic, hyper is the prefix for "above", so in this case the salt solution is higher than in the cell, so the water in the cell moves out into the solution causing the cell to shrink in size (crenate).
