Why is it that I often dream of this one place that I used to live?

Something connected you to that house. I'm not talking some spiritual force or anything, but there is something about that house that your mind is fixed on, something that it reminds you of. Your subconscious still holds on to as if it is important. Maybe it is? Did any major events happen while you were in that house? Thinks that keep your mind there. Idk, Im no dream pro, but thats what happens to me. When I have dreams with my dog( now deceased) they are usually at my first house when I first got him, over 12 years ago.
