How much do you pay per day for your baby's daycare?

I am going back to work sometime in April and am looking into daycares. I just talked to one daycare and it is $45 a day for children under 2. The daycare provides everything, run by a couple out of their home, they only have 12 kids there max, and my son would be there Monday- Thursday. I am looking at it on Friday. I thought that was a little high priced though. I am in upstate New York (about 1.5 hours north of NYC which might be another reason the price is a little inflated). How much do you pay per day and would you pay $45 a day?
