Help me Please?? I would really appreciate it?

I'm in this camp for school, and the day before a field trip, I saw a guy who I thought was really cute, but I didn't say anything. The next day, it turned out that we were in the same group for the trip so we basically spent the whole day together, and when we were walking we were always side by side, it was kind of awkward for me since we've never talked or anything, so I tried speeding up or slowing down a little bit, but it didn't work, we stayed right next to each other. The whole thing was about team building, so we had to do things and work together. We actually got REALLY close, and I don't mean emotionally c[ ;= He looks at me a lot, and I always lose concentration when I see him looking at me, like today me and my friends sat down, and he sat with the people right across from us, whenever I looked up to look at him, he was already looking at me, and we've made eye contact at least 4 times during the course of 10 minutes. He seems like a really shy person, so I doubt he'll ever say anything to me, but I really want him to, how can I subtly let him know that I like him? And do you think he likes me back?
